One of the most sought after diet rituals of the model, the elite, and the street walker. A cleanse will "put your mind, body, and soul into check". But what's behind the stereotypical, socially accepted, cleanse "diet"? Facts and ideas of one person whose ideas inspired a generation of skinny, tight, Barbie figures. My question is, "what's behind the closed doors of diets?". I thought and I thought and what I came up with is reasonable to a point. So, without further to do here are my experiences and thoughts on the "New Cleanse Diet- B Cleanse".
The cleanse diet can go from a week to a year or two or even three in duration. Instead of saying, "I'm on a diet" people will say, "I'm doing a cleanse". There are many types of diets but did you know there are many types of cleanses? The "cleanse" is a widely known and accepted DIET. Now, I choose to ignore that and give you the different and smart cleanse.
1. (my favorite) Juice and Greens
2. Easy Out low carb and high nutrient
3. Small Plate Cleanse
1- This is my favorite cleanse because along with your daily meals (slightly modified to healthy standards) you get a delicious drink or smoothie. The green smoothie can be used as a inbetween meal vice and/ or a breakfast replacement. For example:
Breakfast- High Iron Smoothie*
Lunch- Grilled Chicken and Spinach Salad*
Dinner- Small Steak and Finger Potatoes*
During ALL meals you must drink A LOT of water or coconut water for hydration. The main ideas of a cleanse are to "clean" your body of artificial products. This will LITERALLY make you shed fat and help you to get a 6 pack if combined with regular cardio and abdominal training. This will also help you get in shape for the swim suit season and make your skin clearer and make you less bloated.
2- This diet combines the hydration method of the previous along with low carbohydrates. The carbohydrates or "carbs" in your body are SUGAR and sugar makes your risk for diabetes go up and makes your body CREATE fat. This can be prevented by lowering intake of carbs (besides fruit carbs). This can also be combined with the juices. Meals may include:
Breakfast- Berry Blast Smoothie*
Lunch- Any Salad (may include croutons)
Dinner- Almond and Mango Salmon with brown rice and asparagus*
3- The small plate cleanse is a easy and almost fun way to get lean -quick. You are minimizing your intake of food good or bad. The meal plan is easy. You can drink the smoothies as well and you must drink H2O.
Meals:
Breakfast- Small Bowl of unsweetened cereal
Lunch- Chicken Avocado Panini 1/2*
Dinner- Small Bowl of Garden Quinoa Salad*
The main two things a cleanse should do:
1. Reduce fat off of muscle and create a thinner more even mid section - "sculpt!"
2. Make you feel better inside. Your "bathroom" problems should get better as well as your skin.
*Here's a recipe to get started:
Iron "Rocket" Smoothie (green)
-1/4 cup shredded carrot
-1/2 cup spinach, arugala, or kale or 2 or all
-1/2 banana
-1 sliced apple
Blend.
This smoothie is rich in iron and natural energy!
